The City of Denton contracted Future iQ and Burns & McDonnell to facilitate the development of the Solid Waste Strategy for the City. The holistic approach to this project enabled the City of Denton to comprehensively evaluate waste generation, manage solid waste activities, and strategically address personal, residential, commercial, and corporate waste generation and diversion activities. It should be noted that within the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the stakeholder engagement for this project was held virtually.
Future iQ was contracted to develop the visioning component of a city-wide comprehensive solid waste management strategy for the City of Denton. Future iQ facilitated development of the strategic vision (Task 1) for solid waste management in the City; Burns & McDonnell’s facilitated development of the solid waste management strategy and a Phase 1 implementation plan.
