New Hampshire CDBG Update (2025)

New Hampshire CDBG Update (2025)

Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) CDBG Program Materials Update Project

Project Overview

The Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) has improved New Hampshire’s communities for more than 40 years. The organization is focused on building the capacity of New Hampshire communities to be strong, resilient, vibrant places through investments in people, institutions and systems. This includes the capacity to both proactively and reactively address social, economic and environmental challenges. Established as an instrumentality of the state by the New Hampshire legislature in 1983, CDFA has a long and unique history of providing technical assistance and creative financing to support community economic development initiatives throughout the Granite State.

CDFA continues to meet the evolving needs of New Hampshire communities by:

  • Improving and expanding its programs to support initiatives within all phases of development;
  • Building partnerships to advance local, regional and statewide goals; and
  • Aligning technical and financial resources to support community-driven impacts.

The aim of this project is to improve existing and develop new program guidance and outreach materials to support access to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program in New Hampshire. Future iQ has been contracted to take the lead role in the redesign, update and development of existing and new NH CDBG program materials. To facilitate the update process of program materials, Future iQ is partnering with Kathleen Weissenberger of KW Consultants to provide expert material content analysis and information. The complete project will involve the development of a library of materials, including program guides, virtual training workshops, and project success stories that will improve access to the CDBG program for years.
