Adams County is a county located in Colorado. With a population of 519,572 (2020 census), the county seat is Brighton. Located in the Denver metro area, Adams County is Colorado’s fifth largest county.
The Adams County Economic Development Strategic Plan is being updated in 2024. The Adams County Economic Development Strategic Plan (EDSP) provides a roadmap and guidebook for the economic development priorities for the short term (one – two years) and mid-term (three – five years) with an eye toward long term trends and outcomes. The Plan establishes a community-focused framework for economic development while continuing to serve the business community through support, resources, and engagement. The Plan is data-driven and complements other economic development reports, County initiatives, and regional planning and economic development efforts.
Adams County contracted Future iQ to assist with the update of the Adams County Economic Development Strategic Plan in late 2023.
