Producing a comprehensive Communications Plan for a military base in Wisconsin, USA

Project Overview

The Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs (WDMA) has received a grant for community outreach and education. This grant will also support the federal noise mitigation planning process and support the Dane County Regional Airport’s current Noise Compatibility (Part 150) Study. The Madison F35 Community Connection project is an attempt at building a stronger relationship between the Madison community and the 115th Fighter Unit at Madison’s Truax Field through comprehensive education and engagement.

Future iQ®'s Role in this Project

    • Future iQ is applying its communications methodology, Future iQ Creative, to unify the messaging and produce a stakeholder engagement and communications plan for this project.
    • Future iQ is engaging stakeholders via in person community events.
    • Future iQ is producing a website at with a custom URL - MadisonF35.com - as the ‘go-to’ place for project information.
    • Future iQ is providing a survey and data visualization for survey results.
    • Future iQ is conducting in-depth Situational Analysis research and producing a report to ascertain comparisons across similar communities.
    • Finally Future iQ will facilitate focus groups and the final Community Summit.
