Project Overview

In 2019, the City of Trotwood contracted with Future iQ to produce their 5-year Organizational Strategic Plan. The City of Trotwood has again contracted with Future iQ to produce an in-depth Community Communications Strategy and Toolkit for the City to communicate in an effective and extensive manner with its residents.

This project’s objective is to create an extensive and robust Community Communications Strategy and dynamic Communications toolkit which will inform and consistently update the Trotwood community.

A Community Communications survey will ascertain the current status of communications between the City and its community. This will be followed by a Public Launch that will showcase the findings and engage with the community about their ideas for ideal direct communication. Further in person engagement will occur via targeted Focus Group sessions which will concentrate on key themes and topics that emerge from the Public Launch and Community Communications Survey. The Focus Groups will gather input on what participants need and how best to implement the strategy around each particular topic.

The final City of Trotwood Community Communications Strategy and Communications Toolkit will be formulated in December 2023.
